One loaf of soft, French bread
2 tbsp sugar
2 cups milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
Slice French bread into one inch slices. Place in a deep pan.
Mix Sugar, Milk, Eggs, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Vanilla into a large bowl.
Pour over sliced bread until fully soaked.
Let sit awhile.
Brown the French toast on a greased griddle.
Finish in warm oven if necessary.
