Hot Air Balloon Rides at our B&B in Virginia

 It was the most perfect weather for a balloon lift-off and fly-away, right from our pasture -- 65 degrees, bright blue cloudless sky contrasted with the lush green foliage of the rolling hills of central Virginia. This weekend our Girls Getaway group celebrated the birthday of one of their gals by treating her to a hot air balloon ride with our favorite pilot, Scott Cohrs, owner of  Bonaire Charters.

They were among his first guests to fly in his new "rainbow" balloon. What a beauty!

Wish us luck!

Three of the ladies flew while the rest followed with the chase truck. All, including Scott, returned to the Inn for the traditional "happy landing" champagne toast and a great hearty breakfast of blueberry pancakes with all the trimmings. (Color me green with envy!)
