Two of the area's leading world-class wineries will present a wine and food pairing event on Sunday, December 12.

Barboursville Vineyards will host a dinner featuring Barboursville wines with viticulturist Fernando Franco at Al Dente Ristorante in Barboursville at 6:30 pm. Come early and enjoy a tour of the Tasting Room, with its roaring double-sided fireplace, it is the centerpiece of a visit to the winery.

DelFosse Vineyards and Winery will host an afternoon of fun at a wine and food pairing on Sunday, December 12 featuring an excellent menu prepared by Genevieve DelFosse. You will enjoy a tour of the Tasting Room and vineyard which is one of the only terraced vineyards in Virginia. Its 330 acres set among the hills provides breathtaking views as well as award wining wines.

American Shakespeare Center

Enjoy a humorous play this holiday season!  The Blackfriars Playhouse at American Shakespeare Center is located in Staunton, VA - just under an hour from The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm.  December is a great time to take a break, even if just for a night or two, get pampered at our inn, and get into the holiday spirit by seeing one of the following plays:
