ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVALS

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

When we come across some new and fun information about an event, we like to share it with our guests:

Main Street Arena, located on the end of the downtown pedestrian mall, (which not too long ago was the Charlottesville Ice Park) will be hosting an arts and crafts festival next weekend.  The ice arena still operates during the winter months, but on November 27 and 28, 2010, they will be creating the Charlottesville Arts and Crafts Festival.  The arena has a 17,000 square foot climate controlled event space that will feature local artists, bands, food and beverages.  Admission is $5.00 for anyone 12 years old and over.  There will be plenty to offer for those looking for "that special something" for someone during the Christmas or Hanukkah season, or to just look over what our local artists have been working on during the past year.  Have fun and we hope to see you over the holidays!

What a great time we had with our veteran and active duty service men and women on November 10 & 11. The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm participated in the B&B's for Vets program which started at a few inns in West Virginia in 2009 and exploded nationwide this year, honoring our service people with a free night's stay. Our guests were retired and active duty Army and Marines and their spouses or friends.

We were honored they chose to stay with us and are so appreciative of their service to our nation. We are looking forward to participating in this program again next November. To any bed and breakfasts that did not participate this year -- we encourage you to do so next year!

Come to Charlottesville, Virginia and enjoy a serene country retreat
at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
