CHARLOTTESVILLE VIRGINIA - ENTERTAINMENT AND DINING

Get out and have some Charlottesville fun!

Entertainment in Charlottesville is the best! August 27, Keith Urban will be in town with special guest Sugarland. Plan a stay at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm and visit our spectacular John Paul Jones Arena.

If you can't visit in August, plan to visit this Fall. In October, U2 will be doing a show at the University of Virginia's Scott Stadium.

If not for the music in town, plan to come this fall to take in a University of Virginia football game. It's never too early to make a fall reservation. Fall is our busiest time of the year.

Before or after the show stop by one of the two restaurants consistently voted Best in Charlottesville, both Latin-themed: Zocolo and Mas. At Mas, our most famous tapas eatery try their Solomillo de Kobe (thinly sliced kobe beef served very rare with manchego cheese and white truffle oil over arugula), with a pitcher of their signature sangria, of course -- mmmm, good! If Asian fusion is your preference then Bang! will be your first choice. For fine dining, the C&O restaurant consistently rates highly among the favorites. It has long defined upscale eating in Charlottesville.

If you prefer intimate dining in an historic inn, then The Silver Thatch Inn will be your first choice. The Silver Thatch offers contemporary cuisine featuring grilled meat and fish with eclectic sauces and fresh local produce. All breads and desserts are housemade by their pastry chef.
