Live Entertainment in an Outdoor Setting
Located on the east end of the historic downtown mall, the Charlottesville Pavilion is the city’s premier outdoor venue for live performance featuring local and national performing artists.
With performances from mid-April through mid-October, this Budweiser Concert Series brings Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Grammy winners, and some of the hottest emerging music stars on the road.
The Pavilion features premium seating, a spacious lawn, and a professional stage house; all within easy walking distance of Downtown Charlottesville’s many restaurants and other attractions.
The past few years have seen the Pavilion present more than 70 unforgettable performances by legends such as Bonnie Raitt, Loretta Lynn, James Brown, Willie Nelson, John Prine and Merle Haggard along with classic rockers such as the Allman Brothers, Los Lobos, The Black Crowes, and George Clinton. New artists such as Wilco, Rufus Wainwright, Neko Case, Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, The Flaming Lips, and Robert Randolph have all graced the venue’s stage.
The Pavilion also hosts the perennial favorite, the FREE Friday's After Five concert series, featuring local artists performing rock and blues, salsa and jazz -- a great way to start your summer weekends!
