The eleventh annual Virginia Festival of the Book will be March 22-26, 2006. Readings, panel discussions and book signings are held throughout the area during the days and evenings of the festival. Admission to everything except for special luncheons and receptions are free and open to the public. There are usually about 150 total programs, including adult and children's programming.

VABook! can hold special pleasures for group tours visiting the area. With the schedule, group members could disperse, selecting individually programs which suited them. Readings and panels are free and open to the public.
