Holiday Music and Cheer

Virginia Glee Club 66th Annual Christmas Concert

Description: Join the Virginia Glee Club in celebrating their 66th Annual Christmas Concert, and begin the holiday season with an evening of festive men's choral music from around the world! Jim Brickman Christmas

The Canadian Brass

Charlottesville Municipal Band Christmas Concert

Description: It's not Christmas in Charlottesville until we've heard from the Municipal Band. Seasonal and traditional music, "snow fall" and audience participation highlights this annual festivity. In The Christmas Mood with the Glenn Miller Orchestra

Silver Strings Gala with the Charlottesville High School String Ensemble

Description: This special event celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Laura Mulligan Thomas as Director of the CHS orchestra and features holiday music by the award winning CHS String Ensemble, joined by prominent CHS Orchestra alumni musicians. The String Ensemble will play the Corelli "Christmas" Concerto, the Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Greensleeves, the Latham arrangement of the Nutcracker Suite, and Sleigh Ride. Featured alumni will play solo pieces.

Christmas at The Paramount

Description: The Oratorio Society presents its annual holiday concert with seasonal music for the whole family. The 100-strong chorus, under the direction of L. Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker

Description: This Broadway level spectacle features dazzling costumes, 50 All-Star Russian cast, hand-painted sets, larger-than-life puppets, and breathtaking scenic design by Valentin Fedorov. Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker is beloved by audiences and praised by critics for it's unique setting of Act Two in the "Land of Peace and Harmony". Now in it's fourteenth consecutive year, Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker will tour 80 cities this holiday season.

Ain't Misbehavin'

Holley Trolley
